When men choose a best friend, size really doesn't matter - Toronto Star- About: hypoallergenic dogs

When men choose a best friend, size really doesn’t matter - thestar. Toronto psychotherapist David Schatzky says a big man who owns a small dog is telling the world something of how they feel about themselves. Toronto east-enders Robert Orlovski and Jason Faulkner agree owning a small dog does not threaten their masculinity. Men with small dogs are confident enough that they don’t have to display their manliness by driving a Hummer and walking a pit bull, says Orlovski on a morning walk with Oskar, his 7-year-old pug. As downtown Toronto becomes a condo culture, the cramped quarters are leading many dog lovers to go small. He had a large breed dog before but this time decided to go small, for a dog that’s hypoallergenic and non-shedding.
