Kill, Tupper featured in coaching clinic (The Joplin Globe)- About: hypoallergenic dogs
Jerry Kill, former head football coach at Webb City High School and the new head coach at Northern Illinois, is one of the feature speakers at the Four-State Football Clinic on Friday and Saturday at the Holiday Inn in Joplin. The clinic, presented by the Joplin Sports Authority, also includes a clinic for youth football coaches on Saturday morning conducted by Jeff Tupper, former standout at Parkwood High School and a starting defensive tackle on Oklahoma’s 1985 national championship team. The afternoon’s college speakers also have a local flavor, including Missouri Southern’s Matt Karleskint on the Southern offense, Pittsburg State’s Tim Beck on Gorilla offense and former Missouri Southern All-American Yancy McKnight on strength and conditioning. Other college coaches on the program are Rion Rhoades of Hutchinson Community College, Scott Maxfield of Henderson State, Moe Lattimore of Kansas State, Steve Patterson of Central Oklahoma and Scott Bostwick of Northwest Missouri State.
