HILLSBOROUGH — The animals she grooms might not be actually attending a Hollywood awards show, but Beth Recchia hopes to at least make them look red-carpet worthy. Recchia, 25, a township native and self-described animal lover, had wanted to work with animals ever since she graduated Hillsborough High School in 2001. She went on to attend and receive her pet-grooming diploma from the North Jersey Dog Grooming Institute in Chatham, worked as a pet groomer in Flemington for three years, and was later hired back at the Grooming Institute as an instructor. In April 2006, she opened Furry Tails pet grooming salon, where she also instructs those wanting to learn how to groom animals. Beth Recchia of Manville is owner of Furry Tails Pet Grooming Services in Hillsborough.
