Have an itchy pet? Fleas may be the culprit - Culpeper Star Exponent- Topic: hypoallergenic dogs

Allergies, external parasites, incomplete rinsing after a bath, and moisture trapped in the fur are all common causes of secondary skin infections . Usually these infections will be treated with systemic antibiotics , medicated shampoos, or topical anti-microbial products . Besides intense itching , skin infections frequently lead to small red bumps on the skin. Other cases may require a blood test, skin allergy test, and/or hypoallergenic food trial .
