Introducing STITCH ALPACA - Creative Boom (blog)- About: hypoallergenic dogs

I’m just saying this because the founder of the newest addition to our directory, Stitch Alpaca , is still at university in Edinburgh facing the final year of a Masters in History, and he’s only 20. David Fauchier, originally Parisian but a Londoner since childhood, came up with the idea for unique fashion brand Stitch Alpaca when he was living in Cusco, Peru and working at the Elim Orphange from May – July 2009, part of a 9-month-long gap year. Citing “Ralph Lauren knits and Pringle wools” as the quality benchmarks for Stitch Alpaca , he also mentioned the obvious influence from Peru on the brand – “full of vibrant colours and happiness”; in Peru, alpaca wool comes in 52 natal colours (compared to Australia’s 12, and the USA’s 16), so it’s a no-brainer that colour should be a top priority. David wants to promote and support the Elim Orphanage as much as possible – not just through donations from Stitch Alpaca , but also from others who have been told about the orphanage through the fashion brand. Creative Boom London is a regional online magazine which aims to celebrate, inspire and support the creative industries throughout the capital . Whether that’s design, illustration, web, art, crafts, music, film, animation, photography, writing, performing arts, fashion, architecture, interior design, digital, PR or marketing .

Pet Talk: Devon Rex is a great family pet - Norwich Bulletin- Topic: hypoallergenic dogs

The Devon Rex got its name from a single cat that was born in 1960 in Devon, England, to a stray calico. When I am judging Devons at a show, many spectators will ask if they have been shaved, trimmed or even permed to get their wavy, short coat and are surprised to hear it is a natural coat. It’s hard to believe but a Devon’s coat has all three hair types; guard hairs on the outside, awn, or intermediate hairs, and down hairs on the undercoat. The Devon Rex is an all-around great family cat. They do require the same type of care every cat does; nail trimming and an occasional wipe down with a warm wash cloth if their coat starts feeling oily. They may have less dander than other cats but it is a case-by-case basis, and anyone with allergies should plan on spending some time in the breeder’s home before making a decision to buy a Devon.

Small Hypoallergenic Dogs - Press Distribution (press release) (blog)

Small dogs can require more attention from their owners, they cannot be left alone for more than a day, and they may have health problems as they age. Small dog breeds such as the poodle, maltese, shiz tu, and bichon frise are considered hypoallergenic because they do not shed as much as other breeds and they produce less dander. Depending on your dogs personality, you may need to adjust your schedule in order to spend more time at home with your dog. Small breeds, even though they love to run, play, and jump, do not need as much exercise. Walking the dog around the block is enough as the dogs will become tired and agitated.

hypoallergenic dogs - Easing Sneezing, Naturally - Huffington Post (blog)

Wherever you happen to be sneezing, wheezing, honking, tearing up or otherwise suffering, here’s some information on both conventional and natural ways to help alleviate allergic rhinitis — the technical term for inflammation and swelling of the mucous membrane of the nose, characterized by a runny nose and stuffiness and caused by an allergy. Allergies to dust, mold and pet dander can also elicit allergic rhinitis, and I’ll discuss ways to reduce those kinds of allergic responses as well. Allergic rhinitis and other symptoms of allergy usually develop by age 10 and peak in a person’s early twenties; allergies often become less severe or disappear in older adulthood. Try hypnosis, which can lessen or completely prevent allergic reactions and facilitate the immune system’s unlearning of its pointless habits (in this case, an inappropriate response to pollen, dust, mold or animal hair or other substances that cannot really hurt us).
