(hypoallergenic dogs) Pet Allergy Survival: Hypoallergenic … - Examiner.com

Being allergic to dogs myself, I have discovered (the hard way) that short-haired dogs that shed frequently hurt my eyes and skin and make me sneeze. Even non-shedding dogs lose hair on occasion and all dogs have dander. Thursday, August 20, 2009 Are you a fan of stupid and ridiculous pet names? Wednesday, August 12, 2009 You’ve seen those dogs with no tails, right?

Dogs, children, empathy (and only a b… - Examiner.com(hypoallergenic dogs)

Dogs, specifically, are often used to teach troubled or at-risk youth in matters of compassion, responsibility and socialization. Begun at the Los Angeles SPCA, the TLC Program (Teaching Love and Compassion) has achieved success in breaking the cycle of violence and abuse in at-risk children and teens. For every one dog that is purchased at a pet store or from a breeder, seven dogs are “put down”. There’s a rescue organization for just about every type of dog under the sun – even the nascent “doodle” breeds. Sunday, August 23, 2009 It’s always a bonus when you’re visiting a place you’ve never been, to get a taste of the local color and see how the natives live. Saturday, August 22, 2009 A good friend once said that if you take a vacation with your young children, you should really call it a "trip".

hypoallergenic dogs - Designer dogs? It's all in the name. - San Francisco Chronicle

Now I’ve met quite a few Golden Doodles, moreso recently since their star-driven popularity means they are beginning to show up in shelters, and they are indeed nice dogs. BECAUSE THEY ARE DOGS, AND DOGS ARE WONDERFUL ANIMALS! Puggles — a mix of the newly popular Pug and the always popular Beagle — are a more recent addition to the designer dog market, and a casual glance on-line or in print of the pet classified section will offer up some other creative options. It is, after all, just about the name, since dogs are dogs are dogs. Others who, of course, know much more about dogs than I do insist that this fellow is a mix of some sort, and Bull Dog mixed with Shitzu seemed to be catching on. And if we work really hard at this and get a Chinese Crested to breed with a Mexican Hairless and then cross their progeny with a mix of Portuguese Water Dog and Old English Sheepdog, we then will be working on potty training an entire United Nations.
